What we actually do

We design the print, choose the weight of the fill, decide how far the cover hangs past the mattress and write the wash line on the label. That is the whole of our trade. A set leaves us folded, sealed and measured, and everything after that point belongs to somebody else.

The line runs to 29 listings, and those listings come in 66 color and size combinations. 31 bed in a bag, 21 quilt sets, 14 comforter sets. Of those, 56 say machine wash on the packaging, because bedding that has to be handled gently stops getting used.

Why the catalog reads the way it does

Most bedding pages tell you a fiber name and a thread count and leave you to guess the rest. The two questions people actually ask are whether the thing will hang far enough down the side of the bed, and what is inside the bag when it opens. So the size table on a set page is copied from the label, not from an average, and the piece list names each piece instead of printing a number.

Where we do not know something, the page says nothing. There are 16 sets whose packaging does not spell out a piece count, and those pages skip the list rather than invent one.

This site is a catalog, not a counter

Nothing is sold here. There is no basket, no account and no order form anywhere on the site. Every set links out to our retail partner, and the buying, paying and delivering all happen over there under their terms. We keep the descriptions, the measurements and the photographs.

That split is worth stating plainly because it changes what we are able to promise. We can tell you exactly how wide a King quilt is. We cannot tell you what it will cost tomorrow or whether it is in stock this afternoon, because neither of those is ours to set.
