About the set itself
What is in the bag, how big it is, what it is made of.
Is a quilt or a comforter the warmer one?
The comforter, in almost every case. A comforter is filled and stands up off the bed; a quilt is stitched thin and lies flat. The catalog has 21 quilt sets and 14 comforter sets, plus 31 bed in a bag sets that bring the sheets along too.
What does the piece count include?
Everything that comes folded in the bag. Piece counts here run 3, 7, 8. A pillow sham counts as a piece, the pillow that goes inside it does not, and no bedding set anywhere ships with pillows or a mattress.
Are the pillows included?
No. Shams are covers. The biggest set here is 8 pieces, and every one of them is a piece of fabric rather than a pillow. This catches people out often enough that every set page names the pieces instead of printing a number.
Do the prints run on both sides?
13 of the 66 sets here are reversible, usually a print on one face and a plain or smaller pattern on the other. It does not add a piece to the count. The set page says so when it applies.
Will a Queen set fit a Full bed?
It will cover it, and it will hang lower on both sides, which some people want and some do not. Going the other way does not work: a Full set on a Queen mattress runs short at the edges and pulls off during the night.

Can I buy from this site?
No. There is no basket and no checkout here. Each set page links out to our retail partner, and the order, the payment and the delivery all happen on their side under their terms.
Why does the price on the set page differ from the one at checkout?
Because the retailer sets the price and can change it whenever they like. What is shown here is what we saw the last time the catalog was rebuilt, and it is a guide, not an offer. The number at checkout is the real one.
Where is my order?
With the retailer. We have no order records and no tracking on this side. The confirmation email you were sent is the place to start.
Do you ever run out of a print?
Prints do end, and colors get retired. If a set has vanished from the catalog it is usually because it is no longer being made in that shade. Sorting a color family by what is left is the quickest way to find the nearest thing.
About washing and wear
The part that decides how long a set lasts.
Can it go in a normal machine?
56 of the 66 sets state machine wash on the packaging. The limit is usually the drum, not the fabric: a King comforter needs room to move, and a full drum washes it badly.
Warm or cold water?
Cold. 44 of the sets here say so outright, and it is the right answer for the rest as well. Hot water is what pulls color out of a print and shrinks stitching around the fill.
What about bleach?
No. Every one of the 20 sets that mentions bleach mentions it as a prohibition. It thins the fibers and takes the print with it.
Will it shrink?
A little on the first wash, which is why we cut the covers with room to spare rather than to the exact mattress. Wash cold and dry low and the shrinkage stops after that first cycle.
How do I keep a comforter from going lumpy?
Dry it on low with a couple of clean tennis balls in the drum and take it out while it is still barely damp. Lumps are wet fill that has clumped and then baked in place at high heat.
